I am now located in    JN34OT

I was born in 1968 and I’d got my licence in 1989 (with call IW1CGB).

I upgraded my licence , with actual call, in 1998.

I started my ham activity oriented to the 144MHz, a band that actracted me for particularly complex propagation modes.

After some years of activity with a single antenna on 144MHz, I started also on 6m and upgraded my 2m antenna system to 4x17 el. 3.2wl for some years of EME activity on that band.

Actually I am no more active on EME 144MHz but I started to move my first steps on 1296MHz.
First using a 4m dish and now, after two years of work, with the precious help of some friends, I operate with a new 8m 0.4 F/D dish.
Now I am active on 23cm during EME international competition with IK1MTZ, Diego.

Since 1999 I am also become a SETI supporter. I joined The SETI League Project Argus, an all sky survey on 1420 MHz  ( hydrogen line ) looking for artificial radio signal coming from others civilizations.

For this project, I realized a microwave receiving station using actual 8m dish and automatic scanning algorithms receiver for the identification of artificial deep space signals; it was also be the object of my thesis degree.

My family: the great part of my free time is joyfully oriented to Maria and Francesco, my 8 years and 6 year old children and to Irene, my extremely patient wife. Without their support nothing could be carried on.
